Application:
UV drying hardens dyes, inks, printing inks, coatings, adhesives and other
UV-sensitive materials by utilising polymerisation instead of volatilisation of
solvents. Until now, conventional UV lamps containing mercury have been utilised for hardening processes. Meanwhile the more efficient, more
environmentally friendly UV LED technology has now created a tried and tested and superior alternative.
Unlike mercury vapour lamps, LED hardening utilises semiconductor-based LEDs to generate ultraviolet (UV) light. BELTRON relies on the advantages of UV LED technology with maximised performance capabilities, reliability and

Design:
The complete turnkey unit is equipped with a UV LED light irradiation unit. Since the heat generated during the UV-LED radiation is only
1 / 10 of the heat produced during the conventional UV irradiation, the cooling and exhaust fans consume accordingly less energy.
The plant is designed for a working width of 150 mm. The lamp can be started and stopped instantly and therefore no shutter is required during production. The UV power is adjustable within 20 to 100%.
